Hi, I’m Lauren, the creative mind behind Spellbound Press!

My journey into the world of wedding invitations started in a very personal way: with my own wedding. Designing my invitations was such a joy, and soon after, friends began asking me to create theirs as well. One project led to another, and before I knew it, many people were encouraging me to turn my passion into a business.

Before starting Spellbound Press, I spent six years working in neuroscience research. While I loved the work, I discovered a different kind of delight and fulfillment while crafting beautiful, meaningful stationery for friends. It was during this time that I stumbled upon letterpress printing, and I knew immediately it was what I wanted to do. There's something truly special about the tactile quality and timeless beauty of letterpress, and it’s now a cornerstone of my work.

When I’m not designing or printing, you can usually find me outdoors, either tending to my garden, exploring a new hiking trail, or spending time with my three furry companions: Fletcher, my sweet dog, and my two fluffy cats, Simmer and Lilith.
